TWINED BAGS

The largest bag is roughly 3 ft. by 4 ft. and is what is known as a "pack bag" these were used during the 18th century in place of a packbasket. When used in conjuncture with a tumpline, are great for long scouts into the woods. They are nice in that they are not as rigid as a packbasket and can expand for more gear. They are also more correct for those reenacting the 18th century as packbaskets were not used by natives until into the 19th century.
The smaller bags can be used to store items in camp and on the trail. These show up in modern collections in many diffrent sizes. Please contact me as to the dimensions of the bag you are looking for and we can work out a price.
